JULY 2007: ACTIVITIES
Monday 9 July 2007: Meet the wine-makers.
6 p.m.: wine tasting at the Cave des Vignerons
de CAMPLONG. Apéritif and barbecue.
Tuesday 10 July 2007: Reception for Camplong's visitors, 6 p.m. Place de l’Eglise.
Wednesday 11 July 2007: Discover the mountain of Alaric, its fauna, flora, and its mysterious secrets. Depart 10 a.m. from the Centre P. Balmigère. Return approx. 4 p.m. Bring a picnic lunch.
Friday 13 July 2007: 6 p.m. place de l’Eglise. Childrens' games.
8 p.m. dinner and dance organised by the Amicale Laïque.
Tuesday 24 July 2007: 6 p.m. winetasting with the wine-makers of
the Cave de CAMPLONG. Barbecue.
Saturday 21 July 2007: Dinner and dance organised by the pétanque club, with Christian ALMERGE and his group Sud. 8 p.m. place de l’Eglise.
Thursday 26 July 2007: Moonlit walk on Alaric with your guide Steve. Leave 6:30 p.m. in front of the Centre Paul BALMIGERE. Bring a torch, water, and walking boots.
JULY 2007 - EVENTS
ALL SHOWS START AT 9:30 P.M. AT THE ESPACE CULTUREL G. PAU, except the event on 3 August which will be held at the terrain des fêtes at 10 p.m.

Tuesday 10 July 2007:Village amateur dramatic societies from Béziers and the Etang de Thau present “Lou Darnié Croustet”. A musical commemorating the centenary of the winemakers' revolt in 1907.
Wednesday 11 July 2007: Santandrea Jazz Band. Homage to New Orleans, celebrating Amstrong and Bechet.
Tuesday 17 July 2007: Le Midi à 14 heures. Humour with the fast-talking local duo of singers Jean-Claude BAUDRACO and Jean-Paul JOQUIN, and their pianist Denis BOUVIER. Spiky humour moves the audience from laughter to tears…
Thursday 19 July 2007: Don Quichotte face à son destin. Burlesque theatre. Clowns in a show full of humour, derision and improvisation.
Monday 23 July 2007: Theatre company Les Trains sans Horaires works with the audience to tell its stories, sharing and exchanging with them on the basis of stories of songs by BOURVIL…
Wednesday 25 July 2007: RODINKA Slavic and gipsy music, subtle and rich with their different colours and histories, shine through Klezmer music. RODINKA is five talented women from around Prague.
Wednesday 31 July 2007: Patrick VALERIAN defends the cause of wine, singing about work in the vineyards, the revolt of 1907, and the social significance of wine. No need to be moderate in tasting his songs!

Friday 3 August 2007 :
8:30 a.m. Tour of the vineyards, wine-tasting and mid-morning snack.
11 a.m. Debate on the events of 1907 with historians Rémi
PECH and Germain SAN PABLO.
From 3:30 p.m. entertainments in the Place.
9 p.m. Terrain des fêtes: Show by the group OC (see below).
Monday 6 August 2007:
6 p.m. cave des vignerons de CAMPLONG: wine-tasting. Meet the winemakers. Barbecue under the stars.
Wednesday 8 August 2007: Discover Alaric and its secrets with Philippe JULIEN, passionate about the history of the WISIGOTHS, and the flora and fauna of the garrigue. Bring everything necessary for a hike. Departure 10 a.m. in front of the centre P. BALMIGERE. Return about 4 p.m.
Thursday 9 August 2007: 6 p.m. Reception for Camplong's visitors, place de l’église.
Saturday 18 August 2007:
Journée des Peintres
8:30 a.m. sign up at the Mairie
6 p.m. prize-giving at the Mairie.
8 p.m. dinner and dance organised by the Amicale Laïque.

Friday 3 August 2007: Groupe OC. 10 p.m. Terrain des Fêtes. Son et lumière about wine and wine-making, culminating in the revolt of 1907.
Tuesday 7 August 2007: Didier BLANC et la belle histoire. Popular French songs.
Thursday 9 August 2007: Les Chauds Celtes Du. The members of this group of musicians come from very different backgrounds but they share the same passion for celtic music. Their repertoire of Irish and Breton music and sea-shanties can't fail to get everyone singing and dancing.
Sunday 12 August 2007: Thierry ROMANENS will captivate you with his husky voice, entertaining and enslaving you with his very hummable songs!
Tuesday 14 August 2007: KANELE. Gitano En Nueva York. Homage in flamenco to Federico GARCIA LORCA. KANELE presents a show which is faithful to the flamenco tradition while introducing new elements to mingle with the old: cello, double bass, drums, dance.
Wednesday 15 August 2007: F. CABREL's greatest songs with the group D’UNE OMBRE A L’AUTRE
Saturday 25 August 2007: Theatre: LE MANEGE MONS.In this play the actor addresses the integration of an African immigrant into a European country. A profoundly human tale, sprinkled with sparks of humour and irony, a moving homage to all the uprooted people in this world.
