17/20 Cuvée des vignerons 1996

Purple with a hint of amber, this wine has a powerful and complex nose with hints of ratafia and cherry, followed by leather. Superbly balanced, its fresh taste reveals silky tannins. The long spicy finish contains notes of ginger.

Well-balanced. Will keep for two to five years. Would go well with wild boar casserole and jacket potatoes.
